There are so many default genre tags (which is a good thing) and I know you can add additional genre tags. It would be great to be able to delete unused genre tags though. After importing your libraries, filtering by genre is a chore (especially on the IOS app) due to all the Genres. It would be amazing if we could remove unused genre tags.
I haven’t allowed Plex to use Gracenote genres for some time now, but I thought Plex only showed genres that are actually used in your library. Are you able to pick a genre from the list and actually get “no results?”
beckfield, sorry I lost track of this comment thread. Yes, you are correct, If I remove the tag from each individual artist, then it will be removed. I didn’t realize that, thank you.
