Edition tag breaks “Movies & Shows in Media Libraries” section for actors

Some days ago, I encountered an issue in which, when accessing the “Movies & Shows in Media Libraries” section of certain actors, there were missing movies that I was certain were on my server. After conducting some tests and searching, I realized that adding the “edition” tag caused the movie to no longer appear in the list of movies on the server for all its actors. I tried refreshing metadata, optimizing the database, and other solutions, but the only way to fix it is by removing the “edition” tag.

I did a test with a new server with only one movie, Blade Runner. If I select Harrison Ford, I can see that the movie appears. If I add the “Final Cut” tag and then select Harrison Ford again, the movie disappears. In case anyone wants to try reproducing it, sometimes, after adding the tag, the movie still appears, but if you reload the application or Plex Web, it stops appearing.

Unfortunately, this bug still occurs in the latest versions and was never fixed.

Has anyone seen a response to this bug? This is pretty rubbish and something I’d very much like to see fixed in an update.
