hello I’m having a problem “email address taken” in my … account, email: …@…
please help!

Did you recently delete an older Plex account which uses this address?
If so, you cannot re-use the email address for at least 30 days.

If you want, I can get your old plex account re-activated.

Also, I suggest you create a username that is not your email address, as your email address is then used on this forum and could be harvested for spam by nefarious folks. You can change it here.

Hi,

I am having a similar issue.

I was having some issues and ended up deleting the Plex account which was linked to my Gmail address. Now I cant use that as it says it is already in use. Can this be reset so I can use it again? I can PM the email address if this is possible.

This account which I am using now is just a temporary account setup to post this question.

And please don’t delete your account in the future. It won’t fix anything.

@OttoKerner can you please reactivate my account? i accidentally deleted my account and now i cant remake an account with the same email OR sign back in. it says “email already taken” but when i try to sign in it doesn’t work because i had deleted it, i cant remake an account as i only have one email, and this one says its already taken., i had to use a friends account to even post this, my accounts email was --------------------------

Before reading any of this I deleted my account to try to solve me unsecured server issues. Now I would love if you could reactivate my old account. Please help

It wouldn t recognise my server all the sudden and I deleted before reading these other comments. How do I secure my server I couldn’t acess it to make any changes.

Am I good @OttoKerner ? I tried to sign in with my old password but it keeps signing in with this one. I’m gonna delete this one if I can but I wanna make sure the old ones back up.
