I accidently deleted my Plex account
The e-mail address for that account was “idannovk@pm.me”
I asked for this account to be restored as I was logging in using my e-mail address and wanted to create a new account using Google account and the same e-mail address
After my account has been restored, I logged in and changed the e-mail address on the old account to a different address and deleted that account (I can’t remember which e-mail address it was, just a temp one)
Now when I try to create a new account using the Google account - idannovk@pm.me
I keep getting the error message “e-mail has already been taken”
Is there a period of time I have to wait until I can use that e-mail address again?
Or is it just possible to remove it from the database so I can use it again please?
I suppose it might be / might have been easier to simply add the google account as a sign-in option to your existing Plex account
I’ve read that an email address can’t be re-used for 30 days, unless someone at Plex intervenes.
Any idea on how to make them inervene and remove that e-mail address from their data base please?
Won’t happening, most likely. This policy was introduced for a reason.
