Will the embedded pmp ever return? I loved using this on my pi 2b. I than put it on my 3b. Good player. While the current dev version does work it lacks in performance. Looks nice but way to many extra steps and laggy. The new uno I’m think will perform much better. Is it available yet as a dev? Will there every be an official release again that auto updates? We’re going on 2 years of abandonment.
The first embedded nightly in a long time surfaced the other day.
Its not full on UNO yet but offers the option to change to the UNO ui.
The whole fact it exists seems promising with regards to the future on embedded PMP.

Can you attach a screenshot? I’ll have to upgrade sometime this week and take a look.
Sadly not. I installed it yesterday to partly see how UNO was implemented and mostly see if there were any development to HDR playback. There weren’t so the HTPC went back into storage.
The UNO implementation was fine though, more or less what I see on my ATV 4K.
FYI it also does not have the new EPG that is found on the other UNO equipped players.
