Empty Music folder which isn't

Server Version#: My Cloud Home Version 1.29.1.6316
Player Version#: Plex Web Version 4.87.2

All of a sudden, the very first folder in my ‘Music’ library that contains perfectly valid mp3 files (that played through Plex fine) are no longer showing up. I view by ‘folder’ and Plex just says ‘Empty folder - There are no items in this folder’ when I go inside the folder via a browser. The files are there. I have re-scanned the library, moved the folder out and back in to Plex, regenerated the mp3 tags and the music files still don’t show up. I can play them through Windows explorer (the drive is mapped to Z:) fine, and they are the same type as the files in subsequent folders. I did recently add a whole load of new folders and files elsewhere in the Music library and they too didn’t show up at first, but eventually they did after a very long scan. I even refreshed the Plex Music metadata but the folder is still showing up empty. I’m not sure what else I can try. That folder was fine the last time it was played a few weeks ago.

Nobody experienced this before? How can mp3 files that were absolutely fine, suddenly not be? Spontaneous incompatibility syndrome? It’s annoying and very bizarre…
