Enable HDR tone mapping if watching content on a 4K HDR TV?

Quick question.

Do I need to enable HDR Tone Mapping if I am watching content on a 4K HDR TV?
My understanding is it is only needed when watching HDR content on a SDR TV.

the hdr tone mapping only applies to HDR being transcoded.

so, you can leave it enabled (or not, if your server cannot handle the extra load), it will not affect anything that is direct played.
