Hello, I’m having a settings issue.

I live in Canada, near Toronto. Over the antenna I receive channels from the US and from Canada.
I am running the latest version of plex and have purchased the recommended SiliconDust HDhomerun tuner.

The later works well, and I can see about 8 channels from both countries.

Plex however only sees the Canadian Channels. Although the station is identified when I tune within Plex, I cannot enable the US content channels to be used as a DVR. So I can’t see the channel, view the programming schedule or record the airing.

Why? Is this deliberate and a regionality thing?
How can I get around this setting, as I’d rather watch the US shows (6 channels) than the Canadian ones (2 of the same channels).

Just to add to this:
I have tried to set it up in Windows10, Windows 7, IOS10 (ipad), and on Roku.
All platforms give a similar conclusion.

Other threads on the forum have all mentioned you need to pick a zip code closer to the border.
