On occasions when a episode ends it repeats the last 5 seconds 2 to 3 times before advancing to next unwatched episode, anyone else having this issue?
Do you mean on the post play screen with countdown or before that? or are you using playlists which don’t go to post play? Happening in all player apps or a particular one?

How I like it to operate is once I have watch a episode and next one appears and when I am ready to watch I select play (image attached)
But some episodes keeps repeating the last 5 seconds when ended up to 2 to 3 times, not sure if it is happening when I stop and start the episode during playback
I only use one player ATV 4

Do you mean you click play for the episode listed as up next and Plex plays the last few seconds of the just played episode?
I’ve seen that skipping beyond the very end of an episode can cause Plex on Apple TV to jump to 3-5 secs before the end and play those final seconds. The only other thing coming to mind could be a bad cut/rip of your files where the beginning of the new file still contains some parts of the previous episode… you should easily be able to rule this out by playing an affected episode in a different player; if the last 5 seconds of the previous episodes are showing there too, it’s likely a problem with your files (though I don’t think that’s the case based on your description)
