I’m getting this error when I try to install. What do I do?
Are you trying to install this on Windows 7 or 8?
You can only install an older 32 bit version of PMS on these deprecated Windows versions.
On a second look, judging by the path name, this isn’t even the server installation but the windows desktop player.
See if you have some 3rd-party anti virus software running and disable it temporarily.
So basically. I had just installed Windows 10 because Windows 7 has been recently unsupported. I installed PEX straight away and that was error I got. It turns out there was a whole string of Windows updates I hadn’t yet completed. Once I got fully updated and restarted Plex worked perfectly. Kinda…
