Installed version 1.12.2.4929 a couple days ago. I’ve noticed since then that my EPG data always say’s it’s updating. This morning it’s at 11%, last night it was around 17%. Has there been some kind of change to this, or is this just a fluke?
I also notice that some shows that are new don’t record. For instance, Big Bang Theory. It stopped recording even though it’s still in my queue. Doesn’t even show up as scheduled. It does record on my Cable DVR. Any ideas?
Same problems exist on previous release. I moved from 4885 (or whatever the late March release was) to 4929 hoping to fix those issues but no joy. Lot’s of posts going on, not much progress
Sounds like you have the more frequent updates enabled. I would suggest turning it off unless you are using a XML file for your EPG.
Thanks John, I forgot about that option. I turned it off.
Just FYI, a new version was released on Thursday April 12 that fixed an issue with some shows dropping.
I am having the same issue. I have made sure “More Frequent Update” is disabled.
I am on an Nvidia Shield Pro. Plex is 1.13.0.5023.
This was working fine on the previous version. I tried “Uninstall upgrade”, but that just re-installed the Plex Media Server.
- Is there a way to limit EPG Rebuild to the nightly batch job?
- Can I downgrade to the previous version?
- What triggers EPG rebuild? Is it because it detects something from the cable company or … ?
- Any other ideas?
Thank you.
