EPG Just drop More of my Shows around noon today. AGAIN.

This is continually happening. EPG keeps dropping 7 pm shows at around noon the day of. as you can see from the screenshots below Roseanne and the middle were set to record, but are now gone. I can guaranty that The Goldbergs(at 7pm) will be missing this time tomorrow. What logs do you want me to pull for this problem?

The first image is of EPG at 11 am and second is at 1 pm. WHAT IS GOING ON!?

I am experiencing the same issue and I am running Plex server Version 1.12.2.4929 on linux. Under DVR settings, I have the “Enable more frequent program guide refreshes” checkbox enabled. The issue I am seeing is that after a show is scheduled to be recorded, some of them that are scheduled for the same day the program guide refreshes keep disappearing after each refresh. I did not have this issue on version 1.12.1.4885. I have removed my program guide files, and downgraded to 1.12.1.4885. After refreshing the program guide again, the scheduled recording that went away are now back. I will keep an eye to see if they keep despairing this week. However, I don’t expect to have any issues using the downgraded version.

where can I get an older version of the server fo a Mac?

I am assuming you are running 1.12.2 so here is the link for the last 1.12.1 version released

ALSO where do I find the Program guide files? this is probably different on a MAC.

I am running linux mint… you need to find the home plex directory for MacOS. Here is what I do in linux and it should be similar in MacOS using the terminal:
Dir Path: cd “/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases”

sudo “mv tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect-dd669cd0-2b52-4a74-9dd7-5593091ecf9e.db” “tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect-dd669cd0-2b52-4a74-9dd7-5593091ecf9e.db.old”

sudo mv “tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect-dd669cd0-2b52-4a74-9dd7-5593091ecf9e.db-shm” “tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect-dd669cd0-2b52-4a74-9dd7-5593091ecf9e.db-shm.old”

sudo mv “tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect-dd669cd0-2b52-4a74-9dd7-5593091ecf9e.db-wal” “tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect-dd669cd0-2b52-4a74-9dd7-5593091ecf9e.db-wal.old”

sudo systemctl restart plexmediaserver.service

In MacOS I believe the Plex Media Server directory might be under /Library/, I believe there help link from plex that lists the Plex home directories for each OS.

No, Sorry, could not find it. DANG.

https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/

you should be able to find those file here (macOS):
cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Plex\ Media\ Server/Plug-in\ Support/Databases/

Just refreshed. . . the EPG does not show anything airing during 7pm on any channel . . . even when I go to the new episodes tonight it starts at 8pm.

Ok they did just appear on my recording schedule, but still are missing from “new episodes tonight”. I also set my Plex time setting to 24-hour instead of 12 hour. not that that should have done anything (but maybe it did). crossing my fingers that they record later. and will keep you all updated.

I’m having the same issue.

Plex just released Version 1.12.3.4947… not sure if that fixes the issue. I will wait couple of days and keep running 1.12.1.4885

Version 1.12.3.4947
New
(Web) Updated to 3.41.2
Fixes
(DVR) HTTP request cache should properly check for file expiration when requesting celeb/series data. (#8405)
(DVR) Recordings that fail due to permissions issues shouldn’t disappear from the schedule after a server restart (#8020)
(DVR) Shows shouldn’t disappear from the Program Guide for shared users if they’re not shared certain library types (#8100)
Plugged memory leak with starting and stopping jobs on Windows (#7618)

Lethal Weapon that is supposed to record today is also not available…

Did any of you upgraded to the latest server release? What version are you running ?

I have the same problem. I have tried going all the way back to version 1.12.04829 and I still have the problem. I tried the new 1.12.34947 version and I still only show 6 shows starting at 7:00 PM even though I have 46 channels. The only fix I have found is to change the area code and that only works for a day or two.

could you get me logs with debug logging for both cases - with each of the two post codes
Please ensure debug logging enabled
Restart the server for each test
and setup the DVR with each post code and get the logs after completion of the refresh
and let me know what is missing when one of the post codes used

After updating to the new 1.12.3 beta, please make sure a manual EPG Refresh is done

I upgraded to the latest version 1.12.3.4947, and I started having the problem again… I disabled the Enable more frequent program guide refreshes checkbox, because the issue occurred after the 1 o’clock auto-refresh. I am not sure, when that checkbox is disabled, the daily refresh happens. i will keep monitoring but it dropped one of my 8 pm scheduled recordings
