EPG data unavailable for zip 35007 and surrounding (Birmingham, AL mkt) since approx 2 PM CDT on Sat May 18th

Server Version: 1.15.4.994
OS: Ubuntu Server 18.04

I decided Saturday was a good day to try to test out switching from my HDHomerun Connect Quatro to a Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD to see if it would work better for me on a certain channel. That was about 2 P.M. Central time. It’s now after midnight and I still haven’t been able to add the DVR back. My zip code, 35007 fails to pull the EPG data. All other zip codes in the area (Birmingham, AL) fail as well.

I even went so far as to nuke Plex completely from my server (Ubuntu 18.04). Same thing. I guess it’s a Gracenote issue. I have filled out the Gracenote Google Form FWIW.

Based on what I’ve seen in some other threads, I believe I’m having a similar issue. I just installed my NAS (Synology DS918) on Friday, so I have the latest DSM and the latest version of Plex. I’m attempting to install the Plex DVR using a HDHomeRun Extend and my OTA antenna. HDHomeRun works great by itself. During the DVR install I get to the point where I select “Live TV and OTA Broadcasts” and then I receive an error “error communicating with provider.” It happens regardless of browser, Safari, Firefox or Chrome.

Just FYI, after almost 24 hours, the EPG data is available again and I was able to complete re-setting up my DVR.
