EPG does not work for channels with same channel number

Hi,

my provider (Unitymedia) is handing out the same channel number to tv stations and radio stations. During the setup of the EPG, only one of the two is listed which means for the other station I cannot get any EPG:

In the above screenshot, “1LIVE” is a radio station (EPG is found) and “Das Erste” is a tv station (but no EPG found). Now while it is nice to have the EPG for a radio station, I would prefer the one for the tv station :slight_smile: Unfortunately, the EPG for the tv station is not included in the drop down list. Same is true for the channels on 2 and a number of other channels as well…

Is this a known issue? Any way I can get around it?

You can’t select the checkmark to the left and manually pick which channel the EPG maps too?

If it’s not in the dropdown list, that’s another issue we can address.

Can you tell me what Country, City, Zipcode and option you’re selecting in the dropdown?

I can select the checkmark, but there is not corresponding channel in the dropdown list for any channel number that exists twice. In the example above, there is the channel “1LIVE” in the dropdown list (radio station), but not the “Das Erste HD” (tv station). Both are having the same channel number “1”. This is the same for all channels with identical channel numbers. There are no problems with channel numbers without duplicates.

I have tried all of the “Unitymedia” options in the list (three different options), all have the same outcome. “Unitymedia” is my local cable provider.
