Did anyone else noticed that the XMLTV used by region are scrambled or are missing channels? E.g. using in Switzerland the Swisscom Blue TV channel, they seem not to be up-to date plus channels like Sat 1 Gold, Sixx etc. are missing, even there are more than 500 channels listed. Is this also an issue on other countries etc?
@OttoKerner I already messaged you about this. I hope Plex can check with the service provider please.
Thanks Otto, no I’m using the process within Plex when adding a Tuner where I have to add the postal code and then Plex is providing me possible matching EPGs where e.g. for Switzerland its Sunrise TV, Swisscom Blue TV etc. The best matching I had was Swisscom Blue TV but I clearly missing channels in the provided EPG. This was not the case some month ago. All other EPGs provided by Plex (e.g. Sunrise) seem to be scrambled or somehow having a weird order comparing to the provider channel list or when using their TV apps and default TV channel ordering.
As I understand Plex has a service provider, providing these EPGs of the countries, which is great, but something seems not in line or updated.
As mentioned, the EPG provided by Plex of Swisscom Blue TV (German) is missing channels like Sat 1. Gold, Sixx etc.
@OttoKerner can I somehow provide you more information so that you can check yourself or from the service provider who is providing the EPG details of the countries to Plex please?
Otherwise just try to add a new TV Tuner, select Switzerland and e.g. Postal code 4000 and then Swisscom TV (Blue TV - German), you won’t find channels like Sat 1 Gold or Sixx in this EPG. So you cannot map it to the Tuner which has the channel available.
Thanks for report. I will report to Gracenote our EPG provider. Unfortunately I cannot provide any ETA on when they might be able to add those channels.
Beside postal code I will need each channel name/number that is missing. I can’t just tell them a bunch are missing.
Also just to confirm you are using this lineup? Swisscom Blue TV (Deutschschweiz) (544 channels)
