EPG treats shows with the same title as the same show

The EPG I am using calls all Sunday Ticket programs “NFL Football Live” and treats them as movies. When I look at the guide or the discovery view I only end up seeing one of the programs. Looking at the epg database I see the program guid is based only on the program title (e.g. tv.plex.xmltv://movie/NFL%20Football%20Live). This likely is forcing Plex to collapse all of the programs into a single entry.

I totally understand why it was done this way, and can probably work around it, but I wonder if this really is the right implementation as I know there are examples of different movies and shows with the same exact title.

I have the same issue. My XMLTV feed is less than perfect, and several shows don’t have Season-Episode numbers. Plex then assumes it’s a movie, which means I can’t “record all” for that show.
