EQ Custom Preset - bug or feature?

What does the term “Custom preset” refer to?
A preset that was customised by the user? Or a custom preset from the presets search?

What does the “Use Custom Preset” switch enable?
Does it allow for the creation of a custom preset and its use, in addition to selecting a preset from the database?

How to enable “Use CustomPreset” option?

“Use Custom Preset” appears when EQ is active. It is not visible if EQ is off.

  1. Select from “search presets”
  2. When preset is selected, EQ becomes enabled automatically.
  3. And “Use Custom Preset” appears in the screen in off state. When pressed and it makes a jump like it’s trying to engage!
  4. Turn off “Enable Equalizer”
  5. The “Use Custom Preset” switch disappears,

Is it possible to store a custom preset?

Custom presets are tied to specific devices (e.g. bluetooth headsets). You cannot save and restore arbitrary presets.

I understand it will recognise only Bluetooth headsets because those have device identifier?

What about switching between “Default” (speakers, built in audio output) and headphones. Those are also two distinct devices Plexamp could recognise.
