I activated a new feature in Windows and when I went to install plex it gave an error I believe it has a relationship, is it possible to install plex with it active?

Are you referring to the Plex Windows Server application? Microsoft says if an app is properly signed it should install and run normally, and the Plex Windows Server installer appears to be signed.

I tried to run the application as administrator or by the normal installation that asks for administrator but does not install, any suggestions by the log?

I’m probably not the best person to decipher that log. But it looks to me like the installer was trying to shut down the Plex Media Server, and that failed for reasons I don’t understand.

Have you tried turning off Smart App Control to get Plex installed? If that is successful, you could then try turning it back on.

If I disable it just formatting the computer to enable it again, I will ask other people who have it enabled to test.

I asked other people to test and in fact the smart app control that is blocking.
Is there anything the plex team can do?
