Shield Android TV version#: 8.2.3
Tuner: WinTV-DualHD
Successfully set up DVR on Plex. The channel guide seems to show up just fine with signal for the given channels. I get an error both on the web client and Shield TV when trying to tune to a station. TV tuning seems to work just fine from the Shield-provided tuner outside of plex.
I’ve tried a hard reset on shield and uninstalling and re-installing the DVR. Please help me with next steps.
From what I can see in your logs, we attempt to connect to the tuner, but the connection is refused 
So something is blocking us from getting access to the tuner

There was a crash of the Plex Tuner Service on the 8th December at 20:50:54 and the process must have hung as the tcp port 32600 did not get released and the Plex Tuner Server relaunch failed to setup the port because it was already in use from the earlier hung/crashed process

This is currently with the Plex Media Server development team to look into
A restart of the Plex Media Server process ought to kill off any residual hung children processes
There is an option under Apps to stop / launch on the Shield
@sa2000 That seemed to work for a bit but it seems like the error still comes back after a while.
Yes it would - if the Plex Tuner Service process crashes.
This is one of 4 identified priority DVR related server issues that is with the development team and I expect them to get looked into in the new year after the holidays
@sa2000 thank you again! Please advise when a potential update might be available. Is there anything else we can do to try and work around this issue in the meantime?
