Just installed Plex Media Server on a new desktop PC and testing access from my devices.
I can access the new Media Server from my android app and roku tv but from my laptop, the Plex desktop app gives me the same error when trying to play ANY videos from the new Media Server. However, using the same desktop app I can play all videos from my old desktop PC.
So the issue is windows desktop plex app can’t play anything from new media server, but can play from old server. Other devices can play from the new media server.
