Error Installing

Server Version#:3.14.1.8722
I get error 0x80070003 during installation .

I’m usung the 32 bit version

Why using the 33bit version?

Use the 64bit version. The 32bit version is not tested, it is just built.
If your OS is only 32bit, it is time to either switch to something else, or upgrade to Windows 11.

I tried to install the 64 bit version but by every attempt I get a message that remains of a 32 bit version is found and i should remove it manually .

It’s just I dont know what to remove!

So I’m stuck with the 32 bit version .

I gave it on more try using CCleaner to remove the 32bit version .

It works . Now I have the 64 bit running

Thanks for the help

There is one thing though :

All favorite libraries are offline and I have to delete them one by one and then add them again.

And it says my server is offline thoug I have access to all material.

By the use of CCleaner you have “cleaned” away the “identity” of your server. So now the server is viewed as a new server by your client apps, while the old server is considered “missing”.
You will have to un-pin/un-favorite your “old” libraries and re-pin/re-favorite them anew – this time from the “new” server.
https://support.plex.tv/articles/manage-favorite-libraries/

There are some shortcuts for this process available in older client apps:
https://support.plex.tv/articles/customizing-the-apps/#reset
https://support.plex.tv/articles/customizing-plex-web/#resethome

Does that mean I’ll have to send invites to my users again?

No. Invites are handled on the account level. By losing the server ID, you’ll however probably need to recreate the shared libraries (given any existing shares will still refer to the old server id).

No. The libraries are still there, if I understood OP correctly.
All that is needed is to visit https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access , then click on each sharee’s name and edit their access permissions to include the “new” server.
If there are managed users, you need to do the same on https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/plex-home

Thanks for clarifying. That was poorly worded from my end.
„Recreating shared libraries“ should have been „recreating the shares of the (still available and unmodified) libraries“
