Error Message from QNAP TS-563 after installing PlexMediaServer_1.3.0.3059-6277334_x86_64.qpkg

I’ve reinstalled plex beta 1.3.0 and when I tried restarting the PMS I get an error message “Plex Media Server hasn’t been enabled or started”. When I login to the server and try to start it manually I get the following error message “./Plex Media Server: error while loading shared libraries: [/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer] # libdl.so.2: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32” . I don’t understand why I’m getting these errors. I’m running on a QNAP TS-563 server which as I understand it is an AMD G-Series Quad-core 2.0 GHz processor 64bit processor. How do I get this server to start? I had it running once before so there should be a solution I just don’t know what it is.

I also am getting this error: “Plex Media Server hasn’t been enabled or started …” Plex works fine on my QNAP TS-451, but the error appears each time I upgrade to a newer version.

It apparently turns out that the QNAP TS-563 is using 32bit libraries. When I bought this server it was with the understanding that that it was a 64bit system. However, with no other solutions available I tried installing the 32bit version and the server works fine. I’m not sure exactly why but it solves the problem.

Does the error still occur when you make subsequent upgrades?
