Server Version#:I have updated my plex media server to the latest version available on QNAP (1.2.22 date 1 Apr 2021)
Player Version#:
I upgraded my QNAP NAS to plex 1.2.21 and after that I could no longer access plex on the server. I logged in and verified that the processes are running but I can’t access it via plex or directly (http://192.168.20.40:32400/web/index.html) The Plex web app tells me ‘app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “QNAP” securely’ and does not offer an insecure option. No matter how I try to connect to it, I get a 503 error. I noticed that a newer version came out today and tried that upgrade, hoping it was a bug in1.2.21. That made no difference.
When I look at the process table for plex processes I see plenty of processes and it is running:

I am assuming that possibly a setting is messed up. I tried replacing the Preferences.xml file but that made no difference. Since I can’t get the web interface to open this instance of plex, I am not sure how to view/replace settings (or what to change,)
Here they are. Since my post I tried downgrading my version. Made no difference. This is a recursive zip of everything in the logs directory plex.logs.zip (2.8 MB)
So I downloaded it, made it executable and ran it. Here is the result

Based on that error, it looks like another process has the port. I will restart the NAS and see what happens.
Yes. It appeared to be stopped. I verified no plex processes in process table. I’ll see what a reboot does. Worst case, I’ll run that install process again after the reboot.
I ended up having to make sure it was stopped and installing again.

PlexMediaServer 1.22.2 is already installed. Setup will now perform package upgrading.

Everything started fine. I can now connect locally to my plex server process (via http, not https) but when I try and connect from plex.tv I get
