I have the problem that the playback via the browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge) does not work.
I get the following error message:
An error occurred while playing " Blade " occurred.
Error code: s3015 (media)
However, if the movie is transcoded, it will play without any problems.
With other players (iOS, AndroidTV) it works fine
Need DEBUG server logs to see what’s happening.
It does sound like a player problem but the server logs will confirm.
(Android and iOS players are more capable than any web browser)

I have another film where it works.
From which server log is the extract
Always look first at “Plex Media Server.log” as it is the most recent.
From there, work backward in time ; .1.log , .2.log, → .5.log
Files roll from 1->5 then roll off (deleted)
If there exist any references to other activities in the PMS log, look in the corresponding log for that subsystem
the sound is transcoded. can this therefore work?
I cannot confirm why something works from a 4-line snippet.

Your CPU is a xeon D-1527. It does not have HW transcoding capability. It’s also not very fast with HEVC . Synology selected this CPU because of its low power operation. It’s not a bad CPU. It’s a GREAT CPU for a NAS. It’s not so great for trying to play HEVC content. H.264 is a whole differerent matter.
You are trying to play HEVC (Planet of the Apes)
It must be transcoded and tone mapped down to H.264

The system comes to a screaming haul with the errors you see.
The passmarks for the D-1527 aren’t bad but without HW to assist, it won’t handle HEVC . Especially cannot handle HEVC HDR
