Why does every update introduce new problems as well as the updates never fix the major issues? Change log is always for stuff I never hear anyone complaint about. The scrolling hasn’t worked right for years. Downloaded/synced items from Android to properly get marked as played on server for over a year. The bug where you can’t access downloaded items without a data connection is back. On and on and on. Can we work on these things that everyone is yelling about forever now and stop working on goofy crap no one has heard of?

Care to see he latest update, scroll/menu debacle? GOD DAMN FIX THE MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THIS APP AND GET RID OF THE JUNK LIKE “DISCOVER”. No one asked for this trash, no one wants this trash, and no one cares about this trash (Disocver option). FIX THE DAMN APP ALREADY!!! Im serious…if whoever is running this company cant get their head out of their ass and put the resources into the important stuff with this srvife and its products, then RESIGN. Someone show the CEO this message because I’d like this guy to know what a failure he has been at guiding this compantly. Im still getting the “no network error” for downloaded shows and movies…i know i do not have a network connection…thats why i downloaded them i advance!!!

On a Fold 3 with the main screen in landscape, nothing is selectable if you scroll down your library. Clicking content just does nothing. You either have to opl Bck uo and select something from the top of the library, or rotate the screen to potrair. Ill just start using this thread to log the runnibg issues the uodates bring us.

I love the new feature where the side menu keeps rearranging itself and unpins pinned items. Nothing like playing hide n’ go seek with my media libraries.
Two years later…androidbusers still marking their episodes as “played” manually.
Latest uodate says, fix issue with crashing when navigating screens. Well, when i navigate on Androird with thebscroll bar, it STILL goes back to the top of the library. For #$*& do you know how many years this has gone on and you are still worried about crap no one has ever heard of??? FIX THE REAL ISSUES WITH THIS LEMON OF AN APP.
I stopped using Plex on my Android phone and purchased a refurbished iPad from Micro Center. Plex actually works well on iOS; and it’s more polished, too. A lot faster, too, but I may have a slower processor in the Android so it’s probably not a fair comparison.
I only use Plex for music so I can’t say how well the video support is on iOS.
Anyway, I got tired of wrestling with Plex on my Android phone and had to do something else.
Another download wont play because of poor connection…WHERE IS THIS DEADBEAT CEO.?..GET INTO LEADERSHIP MODE AND GET THESE LONG LASTING ISSUES FIXED!

This is hands down the worst running app I have on my phone…and that includes HBOmax, which should alarm the sh^t out of anyone invloved with this company.
Another error saying i cant play a download because of my connection. Seriously? But hey, the new logo nade us forget how BAD this app runs.
What is the point of releasing new Plex clients when you arent even close to getting the ones you have to run even halfway reliable?
It does seem you have a point. Leadership in this organisation does appear to be wanting. Too much fluff and not enough thought or action in guts.
It is exactly what is going on. Some idiot CEO decides he needs a fourth swimming pool, sees the money HBO and such is making with streaming and such, decides he wants what Netflix has (even though that clearly is not your product), and ignores all the piling issues eith the actual function of his product to worry about crap we arent asking for because he thinks his company should be everything when it is struggle to be what it is suppose to be. There really needs to be serious competitor to this product to shake up whoever is making these idiot decisions. Who ever it isz is obviously bot using these products in the real world, because they would see all the on going issues, and do something about it if they did. They should be embarrassed. For a decade now, you havent been able to routinrly use sync and/or download when you have had a poor cell signal. Completely cripples a major real function of this product. I have submitted report after report and everyone i know that uses this product claims about the issue…the fix? A new logo and a new discover feature that is already done ten times better by JustWatch. I dont know how people that are sooooo bad at their job climb to the top, but this is just another example.
Yep. Another uodatebwarlier this week and literally fixed NONE of the important stuff. We arent counting in days, weeks, or even months anymore. We are counting in years…and in some cases half decades. Kudos to workong on crap no one has heard of or complained about and keaving the most glaring obvious issues to linger for what feels like an eternity.
