A .part file means this is not a completely download or decompressed file. And therefore it is not a video file at all, which Plex can recognise.
Do all these files play in a desktop player, e.g. VLC ?
Agreed, your folder structure is like it should be.
Hoever, I cannot recognise your file names, because they are all clipped. Particularly not the filename extensions.
I hope, you did only add D:\TV Shows
to your tv shows library?
Don’t even try to add D:\TV Shows\Dragon Ball
directly.
In case that some of your files are mp4/m4v files, do the following:
Go to
- Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
- Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase
- Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
- Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
Then perform the Plex Dance with all files of this show.
