As I understand it, the ‘Open Video File on device’ feature opens the Android ‘Videos’ library (and something similar for iOS presumably).
How about evolving this to cover the ‘Audio’ and ‘Images’ libraries as well and bringing in all the main UI features (prettified cover art/filtering/sorting etc.)
I understand this would probably entail building some form of database in the background for quick access, but it would evolve the Plex Android/iOS apps into a full-fledged media player for internal/sdcard storage in a way that doesn’t interfere much with the main features of Plex.
Or alternatively, provide the ability to build Android/iOS device libraries for media on internal/sdcard storage.
