Have to say I am very impressed with this little desktop application.
It would be great to see a version released for mobile devices with features specific to syncing music libraries etc.
While on the subject of mobile. Car Play/Android Auto integration is a must. I know the main plex app has had some love on Android but this should be mirrored on IOS. Personally I see Plex as a multimedia consumer. Plex Amp should become the defacto Audio solution.
Though I kept a music library linked in Plex, I never really used it until PlexAmp. While I don’t know if a direct mobile copy of PlexAmp would be the right path, I do think a separate/stand alone mobile audio app would be great. I think of Plex as primarily a video player first, so I don’t think to go to the library in the app for audio. And if you think of all the calls on how iTunes has gotten bloated. Maybe this would be a good move when they integrate podcasts.
This would be nice, or at least if Plex supported dynamic caching…
This would be fantastic. Properly separating audio and video makes a whole lot of sense for mobile.
