Excessive Memory Usage

Player Version#: 3.83.1
I have PLEX server installed on a Qnap TS-251+. Normally it shows about 2GB ram usage. With the latest update, it is now using 5gb of ram at idle or during streaming.

Is there a solution to fix this issue?
