Hi All,

I am going to buy a plex pass but I want to check first whether or not users I add to my server will get the same features. for example, my brother has a Plex account and has access to my server so will he be able to download to his phone from my server and use other plex pass features?

Only the plex server admin can download, if the server is signed into a plexpass account, then you can allow users to sync

Plex pass features are primarily for the server.
And then every user with access to that server can use these features.

If you mean the included access to the ‘mobile’ apps: yes these user can get that too - when you invite them into your ‘Plex Home’.
BUT:

  • only invite users whom you trust
  • only invite users who live with you in the same household
  • do not invite users who have a Plex Server of their own!
  • the number of users in your Plex home is limited to 15
