Extended Lifetime PlexPass for Multi-User Homes

Dear PlexPeeps,

I would gladly, as I'm sure many of the other people (see post here: http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/77163-plexpass-for-multi-user-homes/ and here: http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/76365-multi-user-explaination/page-2) pay for additional plexpass logins as an extension on their own Lifetime Pass.

What I'm saying is give me a pack of 3 or 5 additional logins for my Lifetime Pass membership for my family for like 10usd or 15usd.

That's a great way to get a few more bucks from your hardcore supporters that already have a current Lifetime PlexPass.

Wouldn't that be a nice reward for us and a great incentive for other people to upgrade to a Lifetime Pass membership plus a great way for you to grab a few more bucks out of us people whom you already know are diehard supporters of your work that already shelled out the big money for the lifetime pass?

Lets do this.  Its coming Xmas time so make it a limited time availability with a grace period for people to upgrade to a lifetime membership and then open this bad boy up.

FOR CLARIFICATION:

What I'm requesting is the ability for multiple clients with different logins to be able to sync to the same server locally.

Note to admin:

I believe that my request and that of this post:

https://forums.plex.tv/topic/77163-plexpass-for-multi-user-homes/

are sufficiently alike that they should be merged.  The linked post is older and therefore I believe this post should be merged into that one.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I created this...

from what ive heard they are working on something for multiuser plexpass support

yes. this would be nice. I'd love to be able to get these as Christmas presents for my family, so they can be part of my server but not log in as my account, but still able to sync stuff for offline.

YES!!! i would also love this feature, i would personally get passes for my parents and kids so they can log into my server and sync without affecting my watched status.

Couldn't agree more!

Love it

It gets my vote

Would love something like this for the brother and girlfriend! Annoys me to no end that my watched status does not quite match up because of those two!

Same here. Live in an inter-generation home, would be awesome. Would surely buy some for my family as well as they would surely want to stream from my server... :)

the above would make no difference to this, and this is already fixable now. search up not the multi user features added with PMS .9.8.x

I would also get a lifetime with this new feature!!!

What features would you gain with multiple Plex Pass accounts?

I'm thinking mainly that plex sync only works with the account used to sign-in the server so unless that changes what would you gain?

Multiple logins linked to a lifetime pass allowing for sync. The problem is not being able to sync my kid/girlfriend’s ipad while maintaining separate watched/unwatched states.

Multiple logins linked to a lifetime pass allowing for sync.

But you don't (currently at least) get that even with multiple plex passes.

I think that's part of this feature request.

+1 from me, excellent idea!

you asked what features would this request gain... I answered... I'm not sure how the communication is breaking down.

Multiple Plex Passes won't work with the same shared content - you can't be logged in with multiple users on the same server.

What I'm requesting is the ability for multiple clients with different logins to be able to sync to the same server.  Because I would be the only person maintaining the server for my family it makes sense that I should be able to pay the one time since they're already paying for the clients (iOS).

Further I understand the desire/need for revenue so I'm asking to extend my current Lifetime Pass to my family members for a nominal or not so nominal fee.

I've also previously proposed that it could be a limited capacity where only local sync on the same network would be possible - but that's not germane.

The final goal is to be able to maintain one server and sync multiple clients with different user/logins so that we all could maintain our watched/unwatched states etc...

I hope you're able to follow and thanks for your interest.
