External subtitles on LG TV with DLNA

Anyone managed to be able to see external SRT subtitles on LG WebOS televisions using DLNA?

(I tried the Plex client on the TV it shows the external subtitles properly, but I don’t like the client itself - it is uncomfortable to me - so I would prefer to use the LG TV Native DLNA client as I did before… )

So far what I found with google that probably I need a DLNA client profile for LG TVs (because they use a generic HTML TV profile) as per I see this in the logs:

Dec 19, 2020 11:07:51.787 [0x7f69cd71c0] DEBUG - Mapped client to generic profile: SOAPAction: “urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1#Browse”; DLNADeviceName.lge.com: teve; User-Agent: Linux/3.10.19-32.afro.6 UPnP/1.0 LGE WebOS TV LGE_DLNA_SDK/1.6.0/05.05.70 DLNADOC/1.50; Host: 192.168.0.18:32469; Content-Length: 710; Content-Type: text/xml; charset=“utf-8”

So, anyone found/has such profile availabe for LG TVs? Does it solve the external subtitle issue?
