I can’t get plex to include external subtitles :
with prefered local meta data
anybody have have had the same problem ?

I see the media file is owned by kenneth but the srt is owned by root
So I would guess that PMS can’t access/see the srt
did not change anything …same , I also so copied the da.forced.srt til just srt . rescanned lib. updated meta . still no external srt
try and set the rights/ownership to the kenneth user and group
Permissions are 777, anyone can read it.
I am not sure if “Local Media Assets” is still needed for local subtitles, with the old agent it was needed. It is/was a parameter in the agent itself.
It’s on the library level now
