Extra Slice recording with wrong season number

Apologies - I have to select a tag and none seem appropriate for a DVR Guide error.

Guide/Lineup name: The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice
Using XMLTV?: not sure
Channel number/Name: 104 C4HD (Channel 4 HD) UK

@sa2000 - Long time, no chat and not sure the correct way to report these now. The show is recording the current season as being ‘14’ when it should be ‘10’.

‘14’ is the correct season for “The Great British Bake off” so there may be confusion with the similar name.

I can see the error in the gracenote data for the show - where they go from season 9 to 14

I will refer it to Gracenote

There may be issues after this gets corrected and we reach season 14 again - as we preserve EPG metadata for recordings and any matching / fix matching may result in some indeterminate outcomes after that

I started submission to Gracenote but then discovered that this is actually a channel data issue at source and not a gracenote issue.

This web page which is for The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice is showing it as Season 14 and not 10.

Let me know if you want me to flag this to gracenote. It ought to be reported to channel 4. It does not look to me as a gracenote error but a channel 4 error

I would appreciate it if you do flag this to Gracenote and I will try to find out how to flag this to Channel 4 - perhaps coming from both angles will get it done.
