after some days of searching information about plex and sub and idx subtitles, I got very frustrated. I found some help to extract the subtitles, but only to the folder of original file. So I wrote a script to match names of optimized and original file and save the subtitles to the optimized one. For all of you, having the same problem I uploaded the code to github. It only work for mkv files. And matches could only be found if both names are in the same language.
And please plex do not only extract srt subtitles. For me it is ok if not all devices and apps will shown the subtitle if it in idx/sub format. But some do, so please extract it.
