Extras Disappeared

I can’t get PMS to recapture my extras anymore even though did just before the 1.0 days. I tried moving the agents (Local Media Assets) around with no luck.

I have my extras under the usual Plex recommended structure.

MovieTitle (2016)
MovieTitle (2016).mkv
bloopers-deletedscene.mkv

They appeared perfectly just recently, but since the last few PMS updates, they’ve disappeared. Tried a full library refresh and analyze…nothing.

Thoughts?

Running a Mac Min 2011 on 10.11.3 El Capitan + Synology DS916+ (DSM 6.0.1-7393 Update 1)

that should be bloopers-deleted.mkv

see https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200220677-Local-Media-Assets-Movies

Sorry, that was a typo on the post. They’re corrected listed in my media folders, because they had appeared before.

Are these two files all there is in this subfolder?

MovieTitle (2016)\
   MovieTitle (2016).mkv
   bloopers-deleted.mkv

or are there more files?
Do you have the ‘Local Media Assets’ active/ticked under
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Freebase
and
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
?

does this movie have a little 2 on top of its poster?

Yeah. I have the above folder/file structure with only the movie and various extras (deleted scene, interview, etc) files only.

Check checked both those agents. They’re ticked and #1 on the totem pole.

Nope. No dupes.

Please show me the actual file names in there. All of them. (PM me if you’re not comfortable posting them here publicly).

If one of your files gets recognised as a different movie or it is a ‘version’ which was matched earlier with a different metadata agent, then Plex ignores all local extras, because it thinks there are 2 different movies in the same folder.

Looks like it’s a capturing…a couple of “Refresh All’s” and re-ordering the Agents with “Local Media” as a priority might have helped. Thanks anyway @OttoKerner

‘Refresh all’ is a bad idea. It causes all metadata for all movies to be downloaded again from the internet.
You mean ‘update’.

Plus, don’t expect PMS to pick up changes if it is still busy updating a library.
Sometimes the best strategy is just to give it some time.

Thanks for the insight.
