I am still having issues with extras in Behind The Scenes folder.
Works fine on my Prometheus but won’t work on Alien Covenant. Both have 4k & 1080p movies in the same folder. If I remove one of the movies it picks up the extras but once I put the movie back removes them again.
Is this still broken?
This is tricky.
If you do it right - it’ll work.
Unless it stopped working.
Anyway:
Remove everything associated with this movie and all it’s Versions.
Scan and Empty trash, making sure it’s gone.
Clean bundles.
The Movie Version in the folder with the extras goes in first.
Once you get everything up, all aboard, nothing still loading…
add the other movie.
I strongly advise to add the other version in a unique folder, outside the folder with the Movie Version and the Extras, but try it, if you want to. If something blows up, repeat the process and keep the 2nd version out of the main/original/‘first born’ folder with the Extras.
Once everything is loaded Split or Merge as required.
It should be good to go.
Yes it’s definitely either broken or buggy. The one I had working when I refreshed the Metadata now doesn’t see the extras. I moved the folder out deleted from plex, cleaned trash, cleaned bundles and then moved folder with one movie back in, scanned and even then still couldn’t find the extras.
Do I need to change the Agents to include local assets?
Seems to be very may work may not, it’s not that difficult a thing to get right if there is a folder called Behind The Scenes then use the media in it.
Maybe the latest server is broken.
Yes. Extras won’t work without LMA enabled, but at the bottom of the active agents.
It’s very, very important to do this properly.
You can’t leave one of these versions behind. Both versions and every single bit of everything having to do with this movie and all it’s versions must be removed - then trashed - then bundle cleaned.
The movie in the folder with the extras must go in first.
the remaining version must go in second.
I’ve had these two items in my Bogarts for years - recently rebuilt the Plexiverse (in the last year), rebuilt these two items and many more at that time and Split or Merged both of those items show the Extras - on any Version:
