Extremely slow getting to user selection, then logging in

For a couple of months at least now, my PS4 client has been very, very slow logging in. We’re talking minutes to get to a point of being able to select media.

While it takes around a minute to get to the user selection screen, it feels like it takes a lot longer - 3-4 minutes - to get to the home screen after that.

I’m connected to one local server and one remote server which is on a gigabit connection.

Not sure what other information might be relevant to provide, but happy to provide what I can.

That does sound pretty bizarre. Have you tried uninstalling the app, hard rebooting the console (including removing the power cable for a while) and then re-installing?
