Facebook notifications pause Plexamp and does not resume playback

When using Plexamp on my OnePlus 8T (Android 13) and I receive a Facebook notification, plexamp pauses for the notification and does not resume playback. The Plexamp player appears to be playing by the play button, but the track does not progress. I have to press the play button two times (once to pause, once to resume) in order to resume playback.
My wife installed Plexamp on her phone (Samsung) and had the same thing happen.

You can try switching between AAudio and OpenSL audio drivers in Plexamp settings, perhaps; otherwise check battery saving settings and make sure Plexamp isn’t being managed.

Thanks for the reply, @elan . I’ve already changed the battery saving settings for Plexamp. It is not being managed. I’ll have to try changing the audio drivers. But the real issue is that it is only Facebook notifications. Not email, text, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. Just Facebook.

Then honestly, it sounds like a Facebook issue :sweat_smile: I’m not aware of a general issue ducking/unducking Plexamp audio on Android.
