Facebook Portal TV Plex App Audio EAC3 5.1 Issues

Server Version#: 1.21.3.4014
Player Version#: 8.14.1.23548

Media Device: Facebook Portal TV
Server OS: Ubuntu

Video media with EAC3 5.1 Audio is only providing one channel output (background score only, dialogues missing).

Media with standard audio works OK.

Connection from Portal → TV is HDMI.

Have tried changing audio setting on Plex App, on TV, on Portal. No luck.

Other streaming devices (Android phone, LG TV with WebOS, Roku) work OK with all audio from the Plex server.

Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

J’ai trouvé une solution avec la version du player 8.15.2.24006.
Active Passtrough ( Optique ) et Encodage sur Optique ( AC3 ).
Ça fonctionne parfaitement pour moi.

I have the same situation. Switching to AC3 overloaded my server’s CPU but turning on DTS instead worked correctly. Thanks for the help.

If anybody else is watching and has trouble finding these settings, they are on the player, near the bottom of the settings list, the first selection under Advanced.
