i have problem with recording failed on the roku when i attempt to watch live tv… i need to retry 2 or 3 times …
The issue came randomly and i can’t understant why… if i try to watch on another device like samsung tv or fire tv… i have no problem… or even directly on pms
On your Roku, under Settings → Video, do you have “Allow MPEG2” and “Allow Direct Stream” checked? I see that it is attempting to transcode, and if your other clients are not, that could be the difference.
Also, you have verbose logging turned on. This actually provides too much information, makes it harder to review, and your logs only cover about 35 minutes. In the Plex Server Web interface, would you go to Settings → General, make sure “Show Advanced” is clicked, and then uncheck “Enable Plex Media Server Verbose Loggings”. Leave the debug level logging checked. Click “Save Changes”. If this Roku settings didn’t help, then please shut down your Plex Server instance, restart it, wait a few minutes, then recreate the issue and repost logs.
