Failure to create or update libraries

I recently migrated all of my music collections from a few smaller drives to one larger one, and i am trying to modify my library to be directed to this new drive. going to manage library-edit-add folders, i have tried all manner of things from just adding the new directory while leaving the existing ones, removing the existing folders and adding the new ones, and even attempting to create a whole new library, and everything ends in the same result. clicking on save changes (or add library when trying to build a new one), it spinning and thinking for 15 seconds and then saying your changes could not be saved. i would appreciate any assistance.

Verify that your drive C: has plenty of free space.
