After spending a full 24 hours with this garbage app I can only ask who let this get released? The new UI looks good, but functions poorly. As someone who has a bunch of friends who now host their own servers, my media is even harder to access now than ever before. Why am I selecting up to choose a category [movies, TV shows, music] and my own server in a non drop down list? Triggers have no purpose other than to pull up a menu, which makes no sense to me at all. The right thumbstick is for navigation at seemingly random intervals, which is horrible because now it gets moved all the time. The whole thing is just a mess, it’s so much slower, and it is much harder to get to my media. The ONLY thing that has been fixed is when I watch a tv show and select a single episode, it doesn’t go back to the top of the list. I actually really enjoy the way tv shows are done, because I can scroll through other episodes without hearing the theme song a bunch, and it’s much faster to go through each episode. I really hate being a negative Nancy about this update, I have been using Plex for YEARS and I have loved every minute of it, this update just irked me enough to say something about it.
