Family member cannot download content on iPad Plex App

I have a plex server running on my Mac Studio. Both my wife and I have Lifetime Plex Pass subscriptions. My wife is a household user and I have enabled downloads for her account on the server configuration screen (Library Access Management).

When I am using the same iPad Plex app, I can download content just fine. When she logs in using her own account, the download button is greyed out and she cannot download.

Because she is a Plex Pass subscriber, I would have expected her to be able to download from our household server, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Is there a known limitation with the iPad app, or another setting that needs to be configured? Thanks.

I seem to remember that only one user can download on any one client device. Which means if you have already downloaded something onto that device, your wife cannot anymore.

So, if she previously used my account to access the server and do downloads, for example?

In that case, would uninstalling the app and reinstalling it fix the problem?

This should work. I’d restart the phone after the deinstallation, just as a precaution.

Tried this but it doesn’t help. Any other ideas?
