I bought an ipad for our daughter and we’re using the possibilities of having her in our family account as a kid. I had to update my server to make it work with the new app. So far so good, but it’s not possible to download anything on the ipad. We only get the message “unable to download from media server”.
What can be done to solve this? I wanted to download her content before our upcoming holidy. 
Do you have Plex pass?
I do. It turns out that on the new Ipad Plex was restricted to not access the local network. So I just had to toggle that switch. I guess that that’s the default on restricted kid accounts.
