I am wanting to know if plex will add an option where I could download my dad family videos from his shared library. IE:
1. Search Dad's Share Library
2. Found the video of christmas
3. Clicked on it to view details
4. Options would be play video, download video or go back and find another video
Could someone create this script to work in plex as a app? Could I build it in plex or can it not be done?

There haven't been any announcements of support for that sort of functionality.
From a *strictly personal* standpoint: That sort of feature would really invite copyright infringement.
I do agree, could we as users make our own addon to add such a feature? how would one go about doing so?
