I am having a minor problem with rasplex that is more of an annoyance than anything else. That is doing any sort of fast-forward/rewinding using any of the Android Plex apps. When using a keyboard, everything works great, but I really like the idea of storing the pi out of sight, and being able to fully control it with my tablet. The box pops up at the bottom, and it says it is fast-forwarding at 2x, but nothing is going any faster, it is just more or less muted.
I'm mostly curious if this is a compatibility issue with my app-rasbplex? Or a problem with how I have everything configured? Has anyone else had these issues?
This is a known issue (mostly reported with iOS but affects all Plex-based remotes). The problem seems to be related with some PMS or normal PlexHT code and we wait for them being fixed by a Plex developer...
Although fastforwarding seems to be a problem with plexht, it is also right that skip forward is a problem with Android Plex Remote. iOS skip and step forward and backward works just fine with Rasplex.
