I have had this problem for quite awhile, but it’s been generally manageable by ignoring the feature.
I’ve noticed that sometimes fastforward (30sec) and rewind(10s) do not work at all on a track.
When this happens, I’m also unable to seek into the track at any location, it just restarts back at 0.0s.
Has anyone else observed this? Or know how to fix it?

Hi Dingo, I also have this issue. Basic fast forward rewind functionality simply don’t work. How can they build a project without testing it on multiple devices BEFORE rolling out a new update? In a perfect world we all live in 1 time zone with 1 phone and 1 operating system. But developers have to count for hundreds if devices with different settings. But after installing every version of Plex on uptodown.com I finally found a stable version!!

I use a Roku Ultra front end and a dedicated win10pro high-end Plex server back end. Roku is massively popular, Plex is also quite popular. What continues to surprise me is BASIC DVR functionality FF, RW, jump back, jump FW still don’t work. Plex is shifting it’s revenue base to an advertising model which enables new functionality like access to free movies, etc. As such., should bring more users.
But guess what? If the basic functions don’t really work, no one but the hard-core-geeks will stick around.
Come on Plex. Let’s the basics working right! Please!
