Using Plex 1.18.4.2171 running on my Synology DS418 NAS, I am unable to fast forward or rewind any home movies. These are of the .mp4 variety played using the Plex client on my Roku and the Roku remote. If I press fast forward, then the play button, it exits out of Plex completely. If I press the right arrow button several times to fast forward, then press the play button, again, it exits out of Plex.

Just want to second this issue. Same exact symptoms running Latest Plex docker container as of posting (1.18.5.2309)
My home movies are actually in a Photo Library in order to respect the directory structure, and that seems to be the only consistency to the fast forward bug while watching media. It does not occur in Movie or TV Show libraries.
Thanks for the report. We found the issue and should have this fixed in the next update. This affects seeking a video from within a photos library.
I just installed version 1.18.6.2368, and Plex still exits from the Roku app when I fast forward or rewind a home video. I really need this to work, if not I need to find another media player.

Sorry, the fix will be in the client, not the server. I expect we’ll have a preview release coming next week.
We have released a new Preview version that should fix the issue.
