Nothing is more frustrating, (especially if you have OCD), than to organize your library only to see movies out of chronological order. Case in point, the Harry Potter series does not display correctly if sorted by title only. Please add the option to display by title AND year so we can have our movies in chronological order. The best approach is to simply edit the “Sort Title” field (under the edit menu) for the movies in question. For example, Harry Potter 1, Harry Potter 2, …
A title and year sort wouldn’t necessarily help for movie franchises with prequels, etc. That being said, I’m not sure a title and year sort would help for HP (or any series that comes to mind), unless you’re asking this in relation to collections. In that case, you can select the collection sort order to year, which would help when viewing the movies in the collection (I haven’t checked how the individual movies would be sorted outside the collection).
In any case, editing the “Sort Title” does the trick.

Another option is to put these movies into a Collection, which can sort them by release date. That was phenomenally helpful for organizing all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies into the proper watch order.
